Prior to college I played for the AAA team the Milwaukee Junior Admirals. I joined the team my freshman year of high school and played for two seasons. Unfortunately, the team folded during my Junior year but restarted my senior year. I had an exceptional senior year and turned some heads while in net. It was difficult to get picked up by colleges because I was unsure of what I wanted to major in. Additionally, I wasn’t sure how far I wanted to go with my hockey career. With my parents’ assistance and speaking with coaches throughout the year I was able to narrow down a few schools I was interested in. Speaking with coaches helped me with the process of understanding of how each team was run. During my senior year I committed to McKendree University where I played three years of collegiate hockey and competed for the USA University Team in the 2019 Winter World University Games in Russia.
